1E. Locate the file AdskLicensing-installer.exe, which you downloaded in Step 1A above. This file will usually be in the location C:\\Autodesk\\ ... \\x86\\Licensing
This script seems total overkill for uninstalling an application. For a simple uninstall (without the rather dubious looking cleanup script entries above), you simply uninstall from the command line with msiexec.exe (mock up GUID used below):
Or you can uninstall via a number of other uninstall mechanism (this link will also show you how to find the correct GUID to use for uninstall). If explorer.exe is closed at the end you can just start it again via the same batch file
Yeah SDI forces AutoCAD to be able to only have 1 file open at a single time, though from my tests the autoit script doesn't process the next file in the selection until autocad has been exited and then it starts another copy and processes the next file.
Notice the size of the Core Console. It weighs in at only 27kb on my computer. compare that to the acad.exe which loads when you open the normal AutoCAD interface and you can see why this Core Console can be your new best friend when it comes to batch processing files.
Using ScriptPro 2.0ScriptPro 2.0 is free and can be downloaded from the following [THIS] link. The old version of ScriptPro does not let you set the Core Console to run the batch. The old version automatically uses the full-blown acad.exe file.Once you have it installed go ahead and launch ScriptPro 2.0There should be a desktop icon that was installed or you can navigate to it by:Start > All Programs > Autodesk > ScriptPro.exe (shown below)
AutoCAD Plant 3D is a fairly robust program with one well-known and useful feature, which is the production of complete isometric drawings directly from model content. Plant 3D utilizes the PCF file format which is a standardized text file that contains information describing the pipe and fittings in the model. Plant 3D also uses its own standalone application to process these files into isos, called PnPIso.exe. If you use any of the iso production commands in Plant 3D and open your task manager, you will see that the PnPIso.exe process will be running and will terminate as soon as the drawings are produced.
A few days ago, a colleague sent a screenshot of a post from Peter Quinn, the Plant 3D Product Manager at Autodesk, in which he briefly discussed initiating the Plant 3D PnPIso.exe through Python scripting (see below). I searched far and wide for the post to see if there was any further information but was unable to find anything at all related to the subject. Being of curious mind, I decided to dig a little deeper.
Unfortunately, it was not as straightforward as I had hoped, and as previously stated, there is virtually no information available on the subject. Running PnPIso.exe from the command line and getting a list of arguments as stated in the post did not work. In fact, running the exe from the command line in AutoCAD or Windows provided the same result as double-clicking on the application, which is a very brief flash of a console and immediate termination of the process. However, by creating some generic folders on a local drive, and testing various forms of syntax for the arguments, the exe eventually ran. The minimum requirement for the console to load is the /config: argument. This tells PnPIso.exe which IsoConfig.xml to load.
This method is a little bit tricky. Due to the fact that commands issued through the LISP command function are processed by LISP in a different manner than they are processed by the command line means that the exe path cannot contain spaces. This is a little tricky since the typical installation of Plant 3D is at :\\Program Files\\Autodesk\\AutoCAD 20##\\PLNT3D\\PnPIso.exe. The example below demonstrates running the application through Windows Run which does not work when formatted for and issued through LISP.
I want select many point in a drawing and put their coordinates to a matrix for inverse it and doing some computational and final , return results to autocad by new points on new layer and color . I want do this without closing autocad.
LOADING EXPRESS TOOLS IN AUTOCAD 2000 IN WINDOWS 7 64 BIT SYSTEM:1. The installation (setup.exe) for Express tools 1-9 will not work in Windows 7. It has compatibility issues. You will have to manually install the files and load them in Autocad manually.2. Copy the Express folder from your previously installed setup. I grabbed the folder from my autocad folder (program files\\autocad\\express) from my old Windows XP machine. If you only have one machine, burn a CD before you install Windows 7. You will need one more file to make the express tools work. It is located in: program file\\autocad\\support\\acettest.fas.3. When you are ready to install the express tools, copy the express folder to your program files\\autocad\\express. Then copy acettest.fas to your support folder.4. Open Autocad. Use MENULOAD and load: program files\\autocad\\express\\acetmain.mnc. Use APPLOAD and load: all files in express folder (.fas; .arx; .lsp).5. APPLOAD support\\acettest.fas.6. Type EXPRESSTOOLS in the command line.7. Restart autocad, and express tools should be installed.Cheers,James
What does creating the ISO image do for you I did this and the iso doesn't automatically load or anything. I can try to run the setup copied to the ISO disc, but it does the same thing as the autocad installation disk. I get the error stating it is not compatible with my version of windows. I'm trying to install acad2000 on a windows7 pro 64bit machine.

Runtime errors are AutoCAD errors that occur during \"runtime\". Runtime is pretty self-explanatory; it means that these EXE errors are triggered when AutoCAD_2020_English_win_64bit_r1_wi_en-us_Setup_webinstall.exe is attempted to be loaded either when AutoCAD is starting up, or in some cases already running. Runtime errors are the most common form of EXE error you will encounter using AutoCAD.
In most cases, AutoCAD_2020_English_win_64bit_r1_wi_en-us_Setup_webinstall.exe runtime errors occurring while the program is running will result in the program terminating abnormally. Most of these AutoCAD_2020_English_win_64bit_r1_wi_en-us_Setup_webinstall.exe error messages mean that AutoCAD was either unable to locate this file on startup, or the file is corrupt, resulting in a prematurely-aborted startup process. Generally, AutoCAD will be unable to start without resolving these errors. 59ce067264
