How to set IP address of CentOS 6.6 docker container?
I have a CentOS 6.6 docker container that I created with the following Dockerfile:
RUN yum update -y
And I can connect to the docker container with the following command:
# docker run -d -p 5000:5000 my_app_name
However, now I want to connect to the container by IP address:
# docker exec -i my_app_name_id bash
The following error occurred:
bash: /etc/hosts: Permission denied
How can I resolve this?
Your container's ip address is :port/containerName
So you can't access it with its docker IP as you want to.
You must connect to this ip with port port, and connect to your container by this IP with port port
