I cannot find a way to stop that in any of the menu options in various places like series menu, managing recordings, seasons, other showings and On Demand (going to the program it's recording. I am having the same problem of the system downloading shows in a series that I have already seen. When I go into the recording manager, a show may be listed there up to three times. I have even deleted "all" of a particular show from the recording manager and it comes back!
