Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 includes some flaws that hold it back. To start with, the actual combat is charmless. Add in worst-in-genre characters and you get a game that makes you cringe on occasion. Ninja Arts' emphasis on the series feels refreshingly fresh, but it doesn't reach the level of its predecessors. Add mandatory loading screens to the equation and you have a mediocre experience.
Created by CyberConnect2, this PS3 and Wii game received mixed reviews, but it is, clearly, the greatest Naruto installment to that point. The newest in the Ultimate Ninja Storm series, it brings back many of the familiar gameplay features that made the previous titles great in their own right. Whether you're a returning player or a newcomer to the series, you'll find a lot to enjoy in this title.
The fighting system in this game is fantastic and cuts down time between channons and parries. Just like the previous installments, you can chain multiple techniques in a row without any time passed. This game is perfect for anybody who loves playing Naruto games on the Switch or even on the PSP.
It's great how the anime has been incorporated into this game. Originally, the game only introduced graphics of the anime but later on integrated gameplay elements of Naruto, such as the abilities and characteristics of the characters. It can be comfortably said that it serves as a tribute to the anime and the fans. Hence, the players had an anime-like experience while playing the game.
Fans should note that the game isn't as robust as the previous ones. The story mode of this game is basically an action-packed hack-and-slash action game and features notably fewer story arcs and things that have enhanced the story mode. Either way, this game is a technical feast for fans of fighting games and hack and slash anime games. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Naruto of any age. 7211a4ac4a
