[S6E10] Baby

A young Ned Stark enters the Tower of Joy and finds his sister, Lyanna, bleeding to death from childbirth. She whispers in his ear and begs him to "promise" her something. She then gives Ned the baby, mentions "what Robert will do" if he finds out, and there is a cut between the infant's face and Jon's to show they are one and the same.
The Good Doctor COULD have gone the other way. If Glassman's initial thought had been accurate, he would have had to remove the uterus, killing any chance that Lea could try a third time to get pregnant, along with the baby.
It was somewhat silly that the entire medical team could drop everything to wait with Shaun, but it was also sweet. Shaun discovered how much support he had; he'll need to know that once the baby comes.
What did you think, The Good Doctor fanatics? Were you surprised or relieved that Lea and the baby are okay? Did Lim's relationship drama make sense? And was I the only one who felt like there was too much Morgan this time?
Lanie makes a special visit to the precinct to check on the baby as she tells Kate and Rick about some evidence related to the murder. Meanwhile, Ryan and Esposito set out to look for the man who worked with Cameron. Ryan decides to buy a lottery ticket while they are looking for the suspect. Esposito sees the suspect and chases him while Ryan is in the store.
After thanking his uncle, who rides off on his horse, Bran turns his attention to the weirwood tree. Meera expresses doubts about his readiness, but Bran insists that he must be the Three-Eyed Raven, and places his hand on the face carved into the tree. He has another vision of the events at the Tower of Joy, right where he had left off before the old Three-Eyed Raven interrupted. Having learned his lesson, Bran does not call after his father, who still turns around briefly before rushing into the Tower. Inside, Ned - followed along by Bran - discovers his sister Lyanna Stark lying in bed with blood-stained sheets, being tended to by a few handmaidens. One of the handmaidens hands a newborn baby to Ned, who takes the child in his arms. A weakened Lyanna whispers to Ned of the baby's identity and the baby is revealed as her son. She begs Ned to promise he'll keep her child safe, as Robert would kill him should his identity be discovered. As Ned looks at his infant nephew, the child's eyes open up to reveal the dark-colored eyes of Jon Snow. Bran realizes Jon is Lyanna's son.
Bran watches all of this in a vision, but he doesn't lean in very close when Lyanna whispers into Ned's ear. All we hear is "His name is..." and we don't hear what his true name is, and that Robert will kill the baby if he finds out. Robert would have no reason to kill the child if it belonged to Lyanna and just some random person. The only reason he'd kill the child is if it belonged to Rhaegar Targaryen, the crown prince of Westeros, who Robert slays at the Battle of the Trident.
The Good Doctor is Finally back, and its first order of business will be to plunge Lea and Shaun into an emergency.Lea got pregnant, and she and Shaun decided to take the risk despite her doctor warning her and the baby about the danger. Now, unsurprisingly, that risk will come home to roost.Spoilers for The Good Doctor Season 6 Episode 10 suggest that Lea will learn of a life-threatening complication and that she will need emergency surgery before the end of the hour.Things will be touch-and-go with Lea and the baby, but will the Good Doctor make her suffer a second miscarriage? It seems unlikely, even if it might be realistic.TV isn't real life; too much heavy reality can repel viewers. The Good Doctor Season 4 Episode 1 made this mistake when its depiction of Covid felt more like a documentary than a fictionalized account. Some viewers couldn't take it and stopped watching.
Shaun is very protective of Lea, screening and limiting her visitors, as he is worried about her medical risks. This makes Lea despondent. Asher (Noah Galvin) explains to Shaun that Lea needs her community of friends. Shaun relents and Jordan spends time with Lea. Lea confides in Jordan she doesn't want to know the baby's sex because she's afraid to hope and plan. As part of her support, Jordan offers her faith in a successful outcome.
Lea develops complications and needs another surgery. The surgeons are almost forced to perform a hysterectomy to save her life. Shaun waits outside sitting on the floor. In a real show of community, all the surgeons, residents and nurses join him on the floor, being present and emotionally supportive. Lea and the baby both survive the surgery, and the entire medical staff is present to celebrate together.
Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt) and Eve (Inbar Lavi) are still bounty hunting bad guys when they get a call that Chloe went into labor. Chloe and Trixie (Scarlett Estevez) bring baby Rory home with the whole family there to welcome her.
Looking forward as to what may come next for Hannah, it is time for her to grow up and do it fast. With a baby on the way and a life-changing decision, these are three things we'd like to see happen in the series finale of Girls.
Hannah also accepted a job offer at a liberal arts college in upstate New York, which would take her out of the city. A baby and a job make three, so hopefully the series finale will give us a glimpse into Hannah's adult life.

When Tommy arrives in a doo doo colored sweatsuit, Reza thinks this would be the perfect time to stir the pot and point out the ovulation sticks buried in the mess on the counter. Vida goes off about Tommy not being the one, prompting MJ to try and make some weird offer to buy out Vida, handing her a check for $100K that she can cash when MJ gets pregnant. Oh jeez, like if anyone believed MJ could write a check for $100K, do we really think she would have her friends drunkenly painting her condo in exchange for pizza? Vida rips up the check, causing MJ to ugly cry in the kitchen about how mean she is. Tommy tries to comfort her, kissing her face and telling her that her tears taste like the shots of tequila she has been pounding and MJ whines about how unsupportive everyone is being of her plans to get pregnant. This is all sounding very Asa right now but before anyone can support her stupidity, MJ goes to the dark side, accusing Tommy of not being ready to have a baby. 781b155fdc
