In the Unit 2: Statistical analysis for biomedical data. The second unit begins with the basics of epidemiology and the differences between the descriptive, the quantitative and the inferential statistics. The definition of the sample size, the selection of the statistical test, the interpretation of the results and the quality control are part of this unit. This unit concludes with the discussion of the confidence intervals, p-values, the interpretation of the correlation coefficient and the study of the influence of different study designs on the results. 827ec27edc
